Club Anniversary(s):  John Scholten has been in our club for 12 years

Birthday(s):  Paul Schemanski turned “old” this week so we sang him Happy Birthday

Announcements:

Sad Departure:  Jon Terry will be stepping away from the club to pursue a new career with Au Sable Institute group. He will be working out of Bellaire. He will be missed

STRIVE Update:  Kassia Perpich let us know that Strive met at Meijer yesterday and got a great view into the workings of a large store and heard about the great opportunities available to everyone even without a higher education

Thirsty Thursday:  Steve Cross let us know that the 4th Thirsty Thursdays will be starting again on November 30th at the Noggin Room. They start about 5:30 pm and it is a great time to just socialize with our fellow members

Madrigal Support:  John Scholten was selling support for Madrigals event for $20. They will be at our meeting on December 13th. This is a great show with very talented kids from our high school. The $20 covers the cost of their lunch and a donation to the program. Be sure to get this on your calendar and bring your family

Spaghetti Dinner Preparations:  Robert Rogier let us know that the Spaghetti dinner meeting scheduled for after today’s meeting will be rescheduled when the head meat ball is back in town

Wreaths Across America:  The was a podium board meeting to discuss making further donation to the Wreaths Across America. If you would still like to make a donation the information will be sent out by email

PROGRAM:

Dale Hull gave us a great program on Voices Without Borders program. These choirs from around the world come to our area every other year. This is a great program for all of us to get behind

Slate of Officers Announcement:  Vern Osterlund announced the slate of officers for the up-coming election
