From Harbor-Brenn Insurance – Ashley Whitney, Janet Buchannan and Juliette Warner. As we bring new members into the club we should be reminded that good Rotarians must constantly keep before them the primary objective, “Service above Self”. Rotary expects each member to live up to this ideal.  Set an example for our new members.

Diamonds & Denim:  There will be a social event at the proposed Trailhead Site on M-119. The event will be on April 30th from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. This will be a wine and cheese event and will give us a chance to meet the members of the Trails Council as we continue planning for our September 19th event. Please plan on attending.

Table Stewards:  If you would be interested in heading up and forming a table for eight, please contact Dave Thomas or Cindi Bauer.

Solicitation for Auction Items:  Please coordinate with Cindi Bauer or Ingrid Flemming regarding the businesses you will be contacting. A Master List has been created which will be used by both our Club and the Trails Council. We do not want to have more than one person contacting business owners for a donation. Your assistance with this endeavor will be greatly appreciated.

Today’s Program:
The Club was again privileged to have David Kaplan here today. Mr. Kaplan gave a superb talk on the building of the Titanic and a little history on a few of its famous passengers. This was a fitting program since, today marked the 103rd anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. As always, the time just flew by and all of us were left wanting more.
