ANNOUNCEMENTS
John Scholten:  John let us know that there is a raffle for Northmen Night, the major fund raiser for the school’s athletic department, of a Polaris Ranger EXT. John and Steve both have tickets and they are $50.00 a piece

Chris Etienne:  Chris reminded us about the foundation raffle and the Paul Harris Pool. The application for the pool is available on our website

Dibby Smith:  Dibby let us know that Sandra Lee Photography is doing Senior Class photos for 22 seniors at the high school who cannot afford getting a professional photo done. If any member would like to donate $20 that would allow her to produce a sheet of wallets for the kids she is helping. What a great way to help out the less fortunate in our schools. Reg Smith:  Reg sent around a sign up for sauce night, next Wednesday the 10th, starting at 2:00 p.m. at the Bay View Inn

Dave Thomas:  Dave awarded January’s Semper Fi award to John Parker and a Silver Star Award to Doug Caldwell

PROGRAM
Christian Smith introduced Daniel Shreve from the Red Cross Disaster Program. He told us about a program to provide Smoke Detectors to anyone who needs one. We can partner with them by providing names of people who need detectors. They will provide up to 3 detectors per home and the non-replaceable batteries last up to 10 years. They can also check the battery life of existing smoke detectors and change out old detectors for new ones. Excellent program and well received

Next Week:  Next week’s program will be Jane Millar and will include a Club Assembly vote on the President Elect Designee and Jane will be talking about the Council on Legislation
