Please meet at 8:15 a.m. in the Middle School Home Economics Room (Room #201) in order get information on the day’s proceedings and your room assignment.  Coffee and bagels will be provided for you.  The student information sessions will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Each of the four student information session will last for 25 minutes.  Students have been given the opportunity to explore 4 career areas—2 of interest to them and 2 that their counselor would like them to explore.

It is suggested that you be prepared to discuss your career for about 15 minutes in each session, and then allow 10 minutes for student questions.

Whenever possible try to bring visual aids or handouts that will help to describe your career area or help to show the processes involved in your industry.  Please let Jeannette Lewis Lewis.je.t@petoskeyschools.org) know by the Friday before Career Day if you have a need for electrical outlets or audiovisual equipment, including computers or projectors.  It is important to show students how different jobs within your career area fit together.
