Dear Fellow Rotarians and Guests,
The Rotary Club of Petoskey has been working on as the host club for DG Chris Etienne. It’s called “Where in 6290 is Chris Etienne?” and it’s based largely on NBC’s “Where in the World is Matt Lauer?” segments. Hopefully you’re familiar with this. And, I know Chris has been talking up this video during her visit with individual clubs.
On a regular basis to show some of the “Where in 6290?” segments during your regular, weekly club meetings. I’ve done it a few times at our club and it’s sure to get a laugh. They are short (5 minutes or so) and are a great way to highlight all the great work we do, collectively, throughout District 6290. And, it may give you an idea or two on a project you may want to tackle or learn more about.
Here’s how you can access the videos:
Click on the segment you want to view or download. To download, right click on the link, and “save target as” to your desktop or jump drive or wherever you want to save the file some computers will not have "save target as" so left click the video, you may get the options to view the video or to download it at this point..
To play the file at your Rotary meeting, and depending on the size of your audience, you’ll need a computer, LCD projector, screen, and speakers and/or a microphone held up to your computer speakers.
A couple tips as you’re showing the video:
· When a Rotary wheel appears, this is the time to ask your members to guess which Rotary club Chris is providing clues.
· When a Rotary wheel spins across the screen, we’re moving on to the next club and clues.
· Typically, 2-4 segments/clues will be included in each video
If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to call or email me. Have fun!
Dianne
