Central Manufacturing in Harbor Springs (Vocational Program)

Erika Walls was our presenter today. Her and her husband took over Central Manufacturing in Harbor Springs in 2013. They do high end machining of parts for many different manufacturing companies. When they acquired the company there was 95% of business through one company, no website, and they struggled with on time quality delivery. They have 5 employees. They have added 6 new companies since April 2014, have a website and are working to achieve ISO Certification. They have a quality rating of 98% which is exceptional with a 98% on-time delivery rate. They also engage in an extensive recycling program.
