ANNOUNCEMENTS
Coast Guard Tour:  March 5th  -  Bill Collins announced that, to date, the Veteran turnout appears to be low so there should be seats available on the bus. Once the bus seats are filled, the overflow will car pool. Cost is $20.00
 
Fellowship:  Steve Cross announced that our next cocktail hour will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Tap 30.  The fellowship will begin at 5:30 pm.  Spouses and/or significant others are welcome to join
 
Spaghetti Dinner:  February 12th, 2015. Mike Snyder encourages everyone to be there by 4:30 pm, especially if you wish to eat something before the doors open. Reg Smith will have plastic aprons available but you can bring your own if you wish.
 
Northmen Night:  John Scholten announced the 11th annual Northmen Night on February 21, 2015 at the Knights of Columbus to benefit athletic programming for Petoskey Public Schools. If you are unable to attend you may fill out a pledge form.
 
Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra:  Anne McDevitt announced that The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra will perform “The Poetry of Love” Sunday, February 15th, 4:00 pm at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church.  For more information visit:  http://www.glcorchestra.org
 
Cindy Bauer:
  • Blood Drive  - 135 people gave blood – Thank You!
  • Handed out a list of facts concerning the Michigan Trails Council for members to refer to if we are approached with questions.
 
Jane Millar:
  • The Rotary Club of Charlevoix is having its annual St. Patrick’s Day party on Saturday, March 14 at Castle Farm. We are trying to get a table of 10 together from our club. If anyone is interested, let me know. We already have six people on the list.
  • Northern Community Mediation is holding is 11th annual Theater Party on Monday, March 9 at the Petoskey Cinema. From 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, guests can enjoy appetizers that are sufficient for dinner along with non-alcoholic wine and beer. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 raffle. At 7:00 pm, everyone can go to the movie of his/her choice. All of this is for the low price of only $25/person. Bring a spouse, significant other, partner or date, and all it costs is $50. Not bad for dinner, a party and a movie. For tickets, contact Jane Millar.

Program:  Jessica LeBresh  - 2012 Robert Emmet Society Scholarship Winner, gave a very informative slide presentation on her experiences in Ireland.
