Program:
Michael R. Federspiel presented some most interesting photographs of Petoskey as it looked in the past and the way it looks today.  These photographs are found in his book Little Traverse Bay:  Past and Present, published by Wayne State University Press.  When the community was asked for photos, 950 were submitted, however, the publisher only allowed 350 to be selected.  You can well imagine that these are the “best of the best”.  For those of you who did not have a chance to look at the book, it is well worth the effort.  The book can be purchased at the Petoskey Historical Museum.  This would be a good time to see the photographs on display as well as five new exhibits now open to the public.  The Museum is open 10:00 to 4:00, Monday through Saturday.
