Birthday Wishes:   Even though he skipped the meeting today we sang Happy Birthday to Kent Cartwright. I’m guessing he is 50 today

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Diamonds and Denim:  Ingrid Flemming needs a couple more volunteers for Diamonds and Denim this Saturday. Contact her if you can help out

Bone Marrow Donors:  BJ Shawn let us know about a cataloging of Bone Marrow donors at the Demmer Building on Nov 7th. If you are between the ages of 18 and 44 stop by and give them a swab from your mouth so you can be put on the list. Be sure to tell your friends since our club only has a small few who qualify

Roadside Clean Up:  Tim Kaufman introduced the helpers for Roadside clean up. We collected 13 bags of trash on our section. Thanks again to all who helped

Diamonds & Denim:  Reg Smith gave a final update on Diamonds & Denim. We have old out our tickets to the event and this year’s should be amazing. It is this Saturday and we are looking forward to a great event

Billy/Duff Cabin:  Jim Beno let us know to sign up for the fall Billy/Duff outing on October 12th

Calendar Sales:  Calendars were handed out today. Be sure to pick yours up. We have committed to selling 1663 this year. This is our largest fund raiser so be sure to pick yours up and get selling

Program:

Chris introduced Sarah Sanderson Districts recent Peace Fellow. She gave us a great recap of her time spent in Japan at the International Christian University in Tokyo. This is a great program sponsored by the Foundation that promotes peace and conflict resolution in our world
