President Bob Waldvogel led us in the Pledge of Allegiance

Song/Sing:  Steve Cross and Howard Richards were both MIA today, so President Bob Waldvogel led us in Smile and we do sound so much better when accompanied by the piano

Visiting Rotarians:  None today

Visitors:  Tom McHale and Nick Liebler who are both prospective members

Life Events:

Birthdays:  It was Jane Millar’s birthday today, so we sang Happy Birthday for her

Anniversaries:  John Parker has been in our club for 57 years

Announcements:

Arbor Day:  The 3 Petoskey Clubs will be planting trees on Saturday April 21st. We will meet by the high school at 9:00 am

Polio Eradication:  Dave Thomas let us know about 2 Polio fundraisers

Skydive for Polio:  June 3rd there will be a skydive fund raiser for those of you who feel the need to jump out of a perfectly good airplane

Pedal for Polio Ride:  June 16th there will be a Pedal for Polio ride starting in Cheboygan and ending in Charlevoix, more details to follow

Roadside Cleanup:  Tim Kaufman let us know that Roadside Cleanup is scheduled for April 28th, hopefully the snow will be gone by then. We will meet at the Walloon Lake Marina service center on 131 S. at 9:00 am

PROGRAM:

Kassia Perpich volunteered to fill for the scheduled club assembly which will be held at a later date. TED talk was the program on introversion. We had some typical Rotary tech problems that were finally solved by Terry. For the presentation click here
