Howard Richards on his last day with us until it gets warmer out and Georgia Abbott led us in Ruby & the Romantics; “Our Day Will Come” (a song our President had never heard of since it was written just a couple years before he was even thought of) and Smile
President Steve called on Doug Caldwell to read the calendar winners, there were a couple comments that he didn’t look like a retired guy with a sport coat on. Link

Life Events:
Anna Sumpter a graduate of Petoskey High School, former State President of DECA and current freshman at University of Wisconsin in Madison told us about her experience as a new Rotaract member. It is impressive to see that Anna has continued her interests in helping her community wherever that may be. She will be a great Rotarian soon

Paul Harris Pool: Liz Ahrens let us know that a new Paul Harris pool is starting now. See her if you would like to sign up
STRIVE Update: Christian Smith gave us an update on STRIVE and thanked Reg Smith for his hospitality in hosting this month’s meeting
Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra: Judy Zorn let us know that this Sunday the 13th. will be the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra’s first Neighborhood recital at the First Presbyterian Church in Harbor Springs at 4:00 pm
Spaghetti Dinner: Mike Snyder has your spaghetti dinner tickets. Be sure to pick them up
Kassia Perpich let us know that again we are the only group doing waste free at the dinner. Thank you, Grain Train, for sponsoring again this year
PROGRAM:
Lisa Hoyt was our guest speaker today and she talked about Sunset Coast Birding Trail. The Sunset Coast Birding Trail showcases the diverse birds and natural features of Antrim, Charlevoix, and Emmet counties and benefits the local communities by promoting economic development and environmental stewardship. Two Week Notification: Mike Reaves was voted in to the Rotary Club of Petoskey at the January 8, 2019 meeting of the board of directors. This is the first of his two-week notification to the club
