Installation of District Governor Dave Thomas: Liz Ahrens spoke about Dave Thomas being inducted at Crooked Tree Arts Center on June 19th, 2019 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Excellent speaker and the public is invited. Click the following Link for registration
Habitat for Humanity: Stuart Fenton spoke of a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity on June 27 called; “Raise the Roof” at Stafford’s Perry Hotel. They are doing 4 houses this year and 5-6 next year. Tickets are $40.00 and available here
Stafford’s/Top of Michigan Trails Council Marathon: Jeff Wynder let us know we will have a water/aid station again for the Stafford’s/Top of Michigan Trails Council Marathon again this year on May 25th. Meet at the aid station at 7:20 am
Officers Exchange: Jim Beno made the announcement that the Officer’s Exchange Dinner will be June 26 at The Perry Hotel. Cost will be $38.00 per person; cash bar and hors d'oeuvres on the Veranda at 6:00 pm and inside for program at 7:00 pm
STRIVE Program: Lisa Hammond gave us a recap of the STRIVE Banquet and introduced Jeff Neill who brought up two of the awardees from the STRIVE program; Jack Shomock and Karlene Howard. Best attendance ever
President’s Report: President Steve Cross let us know that we will be moving back to the Bay View Inn on July 3. Hopefully the construction will be done by then
He also let us know that the meetings on June 19 will be District Governor Dave’s installation; Link; and June 26 will be the Officers Exchange night
Program for June 12: Roger Winslow is informing the group that the meeting for June 12th will be held at Crooked Lake Yacht Club with boxed lunches provided by Stafford's. Boat rides will be provided on the Marilyn Jean of which was partially funded by Rotary Club of Petoskey
Program: John Hurd presented the Teacher of the Year award to Jamie Whitley, another outstanding candidate. This was the 27th year that we have given out this award and John and his committee have done a phenomenal job for several years

Two Week Notification: This is the first of a two-week notification for Don Bastian who was voted into the Rotary Club of Petoskey at our May 14 Board Meeting

Dessert: Trio of mini sweets, lemon bar, cheesecake & chocolate truffle & coffee or tea.
