Reg Smith did his best impression of Luigi and told us about sauce night on the 19th where there are 2 shifts which begin at 2 pm at Bay View Inn and is passing around a sign-up sheet.

District Foundation Raffle:  Liz Ahrens discussed District Foundation Raffle tickets which are available for the next couple of weeks.  See Steve Brummeler if you are interested. They are $20/each.

STRIVE Report:  Melissa Thompson let us know that they have 16 Strive Students signed up to help with drive thru pickups next week for spaghetti dinner. Thank you to Strive for helping with this effort.

She also let us know that on March 4 - a Kick Off Party at Boyne Valley Vineyards for the Petoskey Walk August 29.

PRCCI Grant Cycle:  Bob Waldvogel let us know that the 2020 PRCCI funding cycle starts now. Applications are available on the web site and are due by March 15 at 5:00 pm.

Community Mediation:  Jane Millar has tickets for Community Mediation theater fundraiser on March 9. They are $25/person.

Salvation Army Bell Ringing:  Jeff Wynder let us know that we raised $3500 ringing the bell for Salvation Army.

YMCA Report:  Leah Callan let us know that the YMCA is looking for a Youth Development Director.

Program:  Chris Parker: Youth in Government which gives youth the opportunity to see how state government works from writing model bills that may get passed through the legislative process or it may fail because it is not written properly. They do mock presentations through the House & Senate all the way to the signing of the bill by the governor. It’s a great lesson in civics and seeing how government works.

Next Week’s Program:  John Scholten's Cross Country Bicycle Ride.

Two-Week Notification:  This is the first of the two-week notification for Becky Philipp-Kranig who was approved by the board of directors on February 11, 2020.
