PROGRAM:  Vocational Team Doug Buck and Jeff Wynder

Banking & Finance

From processing chickens and laying tile to roles in the finance sector, Jeff and Doug shared their stories of how they ended up working in the banking and finance world.

Jeff started his career as a tiler in multi-million dollar homes in Indiana and Colorado before settling in Petoskey with his wife and family. In Petoskey he started a new career at Osborne Klein where he is now the Operation Manager.

Doug gained valuable experience processing chickens for school fundraisers and selling them in Ziploc bags out of coolers. This interesting start didn’t last long as his career took flight as he pursued a career in finance where he worked in financing for franchise restaurants before moving into commercial lending at Honor Bank.

Next Week’s Program:  Carrie Klinglesmith, Manna
