As things unfold in the Political Arena, here are 3 quotes by Will Rogers:

1.  "This would be a great time in the world for some man or woman to come along that knew something."

2.  "Remember, write your congressman. Even if they can't read, write to them."

3.  "We shouldn't elect a President. We should elect a magician."

PROGRAM:  David Finley, NCMC-CATEE Project

Our own David Finley was our presenter today, highlighting the Career and Technical Education Enhancement (CATEE) initiative at NCMC. There are two components to this effort. First, renovating and expanding the Health & Education Science Center, and two, demolishing and rebuilding the 60 year old Technology Center. The new building will be double the size of the current building and will offer programs in welding, robotics, technetronic & engineering technology.

This two-phase $20,000,000 project will begin soon. About half of the funding is coming from the State with the Foundation seeking $3,000,000 from individual and cooperate donations. This initiative is exciting for our community and will position us well for the future. Thank you, David & Chelsea for your leadership.

Next Week’s Program:  Carrie Klingelsmith, Manna Food Project
