Habitat for Humanity:  Stuart Fenton let us know that Habitat for Humanity will be moving into the old Sears building soon which they recently purchased. If you would like to help move the Restore or donate talk to Stuart Fenton or Sarah Ulrich

Calendar Sales:  Jeff Bodette let us know that calendar sales are well on the way. Please get out there and sell those calendars as this is one of the Club’s major fundraisers

Billy Duff Cabin Outing for Fall:  Jim Beno let us know that the Fall Billy Duff gathering is set for October 10, starting about 4:00 with dinner about 6:00. Sign-ups have been going around for the past couple of weeks and there are over 80 people signed up so far. Bring a dish to pass, appetizer, vegetable or dessert. If you can help Stafford set up about 2:00 pm or stick around to help clean up, please talk to Stafford 

Friends @ The Carnegie Programs:  Merry Baxter spoke about the annual dinner party which is their major fundraiser for Petoskey Library that will be held October 7, 6:00 pm at the Petoskey Bay View Country Club. Tickets are $50.00 per person

Pedaling for Polio:  John Scholten let us know that he is on his cross country bike trip currently from September 22 - October 30th. He is raising money for Polio. Our club has pledged $1/mile ($3,400 if anyone is counting). He has gone to other clubs to leverage $ from the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation for eradication of Polio. Steve Brummeler will be keeping the club up to date on his progress. If you would also like to donate, he is taking donations

Steve gave an Update on “Where is John.” He is in Colorado for the next few days and he is still smiling and doing great

We will be having our regular local pedal for polio ride this coming Sunday so you can donate for this ride as well and every dollar raised will be matched by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Steve Brummeler, Gary Baxter, John Emley and Tim Dykstra will be collecting for our ride. We will not have the saddle sores like John as our ride will be shorter
