PROGRAM – Club Assembly Meeting
New President, Dave Thomas, provided the club with a kind of State of the Union address today. He introduced the members of his Administrative Team and Board and provided a brief description of their duties and responsibilities. Mr. Thomas also provided detailed information as to where we excelled and areas where we had opportunities for improvement. The most significant opportunity is member participation and stepping up to open positions. For example: a lead for the membership and attraction committee to insure sponsors are available and trained, a Chair for the Club History Committee, Co-chairs for Bell Ringing, Calendar Sales, Festival on the Bay committee to name but a few. To see the list of this year’s committees, go in to the member’s section of our website, you will have to enter your password; this will take you in to Club Documents and, in the 2015/2016 section you will be able to access the committee list.

A detailed list of service goals for 2015-2016 can be found on the website. http://petoskeyrotary.org/SitePage/rotary-club-of-petoskey-goals-and-achievements

Of significant importance was the discussion regarding the future of Diamonds and Denim 2016. President Dave encourages all members to discuss with him, or any Board member, their thoughts, questions, concerns regarding this annual event. The planning of the 2016 Diamonds and Denim will be discussed at the July Board meeting and authority/direction from the membership will be greatly appreciated
